We are the Lombardo family and have been lovingly running this delightful boutique hotel in Taormina since 1969, located in a unique panoramic position with breathtaking views of the Bay of Giardini Naxos and Mount Etna.

Managed by the Lombardo family, who personally and with the help of an extraordinary staff, dedicate themselves with passion and commitment to the care of their guests, many of whom are regular visitors.


Located near the historic center of Taormina, Villa Greta Hotel Rooms & Suites boasts views of the Ionian Sea and Mount Etna. In a few minutes you will reach the nearby historic center with its numerous tourist attractions. The magnificent Greek Theater, Pearl of our Taormina, about 20 minutes away on foot or 5 minutes by city minibus. And Isola Bella can also be reached by bus in about 15/20 minutes or on foot and by cable car in about 30 minutes.


A remarkably quiet location surrounded by a lush garden with Mediterranean and subtropical flora, our panoramic boutique hotel in Taormina provides the ideal setting to relax and enjoy the abundant Sicilian sunshine in both winter and summer. Location

Our boutique hotel in Taormina is located in the enchanting panoramic area below the sanctuary of the Madonna Rocca, treating its guests to a unique experience through the thousands of shades of the landscape above, providing memorable moments.

As well as this, we are a 7-minute walk from the Porta Catania arch, the entrance to Corso Umberto overlooking Etna.

How to reach us

By car

From the A18, Catania-Messina motorway, we advise you to use the "Taormina" exit (not "Giardini Naxos") and follow the signs for Taormina centre. After about 3 km, you will find the "Lumbi" car park, with a tunnel to its left, which we recommend to use to avoid the ZTL (restricted traffic zone) of the historic centre. Once out of the tunnel, follow the signs for "CASTELMOLA", after about 2 km you will find the first entrance to the Hotel Villa Greta, from there we recommend carrying on to the second entrance, about 500 m, where it is easier to stop and unload your luggage. Our staff will assist you during check-in.

By plane

From Catania's Vincenzo Bellini Airport (Fontanarossa) you can catch the INTERBUS/ETNA TRASPORTI bus service with terminus TAORMINA TERMINAL BUS. 


Once you arrive in our beautiful town, we recommend that you take the Taormina - Castelmola connection and get off at the requested stop "VILLA GRETA" (ask the driver).

By train

If you would rather travel by train, from the Taormina/Giardini Naxos railway station you can take the bus connection (small green, white or red buses) ASM Linea Verde to Madonna della Rocca and get off at the requested stop "VILLA GRETA" (ask the driver).


We will provide you with all our assistance once you arrive.

From the restaurant located on a panoramic terrace, you can enjoy the view of Mount Etna and the enchanting bay of Giardini Naxos, and in the clearest moments it offers a wonderful glimpse of the eastern coast of Sicily with its thousand lights.


It offers daily menus supervised by the owners themselves, consisting of traditional island dishes with fresh fish proposals, the best local meats and vegetarian variations.


We are also pleased to inform you that we are at your disposal to organize, upon request, special dinners or events (weddings, baptisms, anniversaries) with personalized proposals and, if necessary, typical Sicilian live music and floral decorations.


Half-board (dinner) can be booked at a cost of €30.00 per person per day excluding drinks.
